Thousands march in Atlanta for Charlottesville dead, injured

ATLANTA – A vigil and march was held in downtown Atlanta Saturday night in support of the victims who were injured earlier in the day in a series of violent clashes in Charlottesville, Va.

The vigil began outside the Hyatt Regency and then proceeded to City Hall.

The Hyatt has been the home of the annual Netroots Nation conference, which began on Wednesday.

Netroots Nation Executive Director Eric Thut opened the final evening presentation of the gathering on Saturday tonight by calling for attendees to take to the streets and protest following the deaths in Charlottesville, Va.
